Dan focuses his practice on Creditor’s Rights and Community Associations work. He advises clients in compliance matters and collects past due accounts. Dan previously worked for Rees Broome as a law clerk in their litigation department. In this capacity, he assisted with a range of matters in all stages of the litigation process. He researched novel legal issues, drafted demand letters for various clients big and small, and drafted a brief submitted to the Supreme Court of Virginia.
Prior to joining Rees Broome, Dan gained a wealth of experience through his work with a diverse array of legal services providers. As a legal assistant with the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program’s Discharge Upgrade Program, Dan assisted former service members who were discharged due to misconduct caused by a mental health condition for upgraded discharge characterizations. He also interned with the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia where he played an instrumental role in advising on revisions to a Commonwealth regulation and, prior to that, he was a legal intern with the U.S. Coast Guard.
