Experience

Overview

John focuses his practice on civil litigation. He has experience working on civil matters involving breach of contract, business torts, construction, and land use disputes.

John began his legal career as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Kathryn G. Graeff at the Appellate Court of Maryland.  As a clerk, he assisted in analyzing a diverse array of criminal and civil cases on appeal.

Prior to joining Rees Broome, John worked as an Associate Attorney at Harman Claytor Corrigan & Wellman, P.C. Counsel at Stride, Inc.  In that role, he litigated a variety of civil matters, including construction related disputes, in state and federal courts in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
