Experience

Overview

Gabriela is an Associate in our Tyson’s Corner Office. Gabriela has experience defending clients in a diverse array of complex challenges and issues, ranging from representing consumer finance companies and other clients in consumer litigation and consumer arbitration and defending clients in construction, employment and professional liability disputes. Gabriela’s experience also includes advising clients on risk mitigation strategies and providing informed counsel on complex legal disputes affecting financial institutions and businesses.

Originally from Bolivia, Gabriela is a bilingual attorney fluent in English and Spanish. Her background has influenced her interests in making sure her practice includes providing actionable advice to clients with cross-border and multilingual needs, including translating and analyzing legal documents in Spanish.

Gabriela began her career clerking for 13 judges in the District Court of Maryland, sitting in Montgomery County. Prior to joining Rees Broome, Gabriela practiced at a Mid-Atlantic litigation firm and at a National Financial Services law firm.
