Todd focuses his practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and business planning. Todd works closely with individuals, families, and business owners to craft personalized strategies that preserve wealth, provide for future generations, and meet long-term goals. His clients range from young families preparing their first estate plans to high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs with complex planning needs.
Todd advises on a broad array of planning vehicles, including revocable trust and irrevocable trusts, wills, financial and medical durable powers of attorney, and advanced tax planning techniques. His work also includes structuring family limited partnerships, limited liability companies, charitable giving strategies, life insurance trusts and asset protection plans.
Todd began his legal career at a boutique tax firm, where he developed a foundation in estate planning and representing taxpayers before the IRS and state and local tax authorities. Before joining Rees Broome, Todd managed the estate planning practice and assisting fiduciaries and beneficiaries with estate and trust administration matters in Reston, Virginia. He holds a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law, where he focused on taxation and B.A. in Political Science from the College of Charleston.
Outside of the office, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and can often be found on a swim deck or baseball diamond.
