Jessica’s practice focuses on community association clients in Virginia and D.C., including homeowners' and condominium owners’ associations. Jessica assists clients in interpreting and complying with their Governing Documents and applicable state and federal codes, in addition to representing them in the collection of delinquent accounts and covenants enforcement actions. Prior to joining Rees Broome, Jessica's practice focused on commercial litigation, collections law and creditor's rights matters across Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. Jessica regularly worked on commercial and retail debt collections cases, advocating for creditors to optimize collection efforts under the relevant state code. In addition, Jessica regularly advised clients on their options under the US Bankruptcy Code and state creditor’s rights law and, when necessary, represented creditor clients in adversary default litigation.
