Megan represents condominium and homeowners’ associations located in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. She provides counsel on covenant enforcement actions, compliance with governing documents, and the collection of past due assessments.
Megan brings a decade of diverse legal experience to her role as an attorney, with a focus on commercial real estate, litigation, and regulatory matters. Prior to joining Rees Broome, she represented banks in financial transactions and performed due diligence on zoning, leasing, and title issues. She also advised small business clients on entity formation, safeguarded client interests in landlord/tenant disagreements, and defended builders in warranty disputes against homeowners. As a litigator, Megan represented secured creditors, banks, and mortgage servicers in state and federal actions that involved contested foreclosures, title issues, creditor rights, and claims under RESPA and FCRA.
