Corey is a member of Rees Broome’s civil litigation team. Corey has experience litigating civil matters involving employment law, breach of contract, premises liability, professional liability, and business torts. He has managed all aspects of civil litigation, including the drafting and arguing of dispositive motions, the taking and defending of depositions, and successfully settling cases through mediation.
Corey began his legal career clerking for the Honorable Judge Jan L. Brodie (Ret.) and the Honorable Judge David A. Oblon at the Fairfax Circuit Court. In his work as a law clerk, Corey managed the Judges’ civil motion dockets by drafting advisory memoranda and assisted Judge Oblon in drafting his first four published opinions.
Prior to joining Rees Broome, Corey worked as a civil litigation associate at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott LLC, where his practice focused on advising and representing insurance carriers on commercial crime policies. Corey has also worked as an associate at Carr Maloney PC, where he worked on a wide variety of civil defense matters.
