Over the last couple of years, the D.C. City Council has not taken much action that directly affects communities in the District of Columbia. However, this year, there are some updates of note for D.C. associations.
The Virginia Common Interest Community Board amended the regulations from the Virginia Administrative Code applicable to the complaint process that common interest communities are required by law to have in place.
These changes were effective August 1, 2025.
