Maxwell is an associate member of Rees Broome’s Community Associations team. Maxwell exclusively represents homeowners’ and condominium unit owners’ associations in Virginia at our Tysons Corner office. He assists clients in interpreting and complying with their governing documents and collecting past due assessments.
Prior to joining Rees Broome, Maxwell graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law – Columbia. Maxwell’s experience in clerking at law firms crosses various areas of real estate: the development and ordinance side of municipal law and zoning law. While in law school, Maxwell was a research assistant for Mizzou’s property law professor. Maxwell also authored a publication analyzing the enforceability of a novel brokerage contract, “Can a Homeowner Benefit Agreement Run with the Land to Bind Successors?”
