The Virginia Senate has approved a bill to legalize medical marijuana in oil form. The legislation will let Virginia doctors recommend the use of cannabidiol oil or THC-A oil for the treatment of any diagnosed condition or disease. The text of the legislation, SB 726, can be found here. The Virginia House of Delegates passed a similar bill earlier this month.
The community association attorneys at Rees Broome, PC will monitor this legislation and advise of its potential impact on Virginia community associations if approved by the Governor and signed into law.
